Shilpa Shetty Kundra is an Indian actress, film producer, dancer, author, businesswoman and former model who predominantly appeared in Hindi-language films. Shetty made her screen debut in the thriller Baazigar which garnered her two Filmfare Awards nominations, including one for Best Supporting Actress.
Mumbai Police Monday arrested businessman Raj Kundra in connection with a pornography case.
According to the city police, Kundra has been arrested in a case registered by its crime branch pertaining to the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some mobile-based- applications.
“There was a case registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in Feb 2021 about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr. Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidence regarding this,” the Mumbai police said in a press statement.
Kundra is the husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty. His lawyers were not immediately available for comment. Kundra has been arrested in connection with the case of a pornography racket busted by Mumbai police in February.
