Pakistani star Humayun Saeed, who is good friends with fellow actor Hamza Ali Abbasi, recently, shared photos of the two of them enjoying their time in the charming city of Istanbul, Turkey.
The producer/actor flew down to record an exclusive interview for upcoming Pakistani-Turkish TV channel SEE TV’s morning show Sunrise from Istanbul, which is hosted by the charismatic Maria Wasti and takes place on a boat. Humayun and Hamza were joined by actor Faisal Rehman and popular host Anoushey Ashraf.
On the show, Humayun spoke about his upcoming movies Bin Roye and Jawani Phir Nahin Ani, which will be releasing on Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha respectively. Later, he, along with Maria, Hamza, Anoushey and Faisal explored the fascinating sights Istanbul has to offer.
Humayun and company visited the famous Topkapi Palace that was the primary residence of the Ottoman sultans for approximately 400 years of their 624-year reign. They also made their way to the The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul which is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with 61 covered streets and over 3,000 shops which attract between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily.
Taksim Square is another spot which the group visited – it is a major tourist and leisure district famed for its restaurants, shops, and hotels. It is considered the heart of modern Istanbul. “In terms of food I specifically enjoyed the Turkish barbeque and to top it all off the weather was just beautiful”, says Humayun.
