About Chris Pfeiffer
Apparently, Chris Pfeiffer studied biology, but to watch him riding you may wonder if he actually studied how to bend physics. Ever since he took up riding motorbikes in the mid 1990s he has been re-writing the laws of what is physically possible on two wheels. For instance, in the 2004 Stunt-wars contest in Florida, the daredevil rider pulled off a 115-degree wheelie – a massive 50 degrees more than what was ever thought possible on a bike.
That incredible feat not only won him the competition, but also landed him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. “Pfeiff” as he is known in the business, also has four European and four World Championship titles to his name and is the only person in history to have scaled the level three climb at Via Tina in Arco, Italy on his bike. Add to that four first-place finishes at Red Bull’s annual Hare Scramble in Erzberg, Austria and you can see why petrol-heads the world over regard him as a living legend.
