The project of metro bus in Lahore has already created much of hype among the masses who are expecting that this development will definitely ease up their lives. The MBS service in Lahore has started with 45buses dispatched from China that will be employed on a 27 kilometer long route. Each bus employed in MBS service is Lahore is supposed to cover its route in 55 minutes. The route starts from Gujjumatta to Shahdara. Each of the buses would have the capacity to accommodate 150 passengers with separate compartments for men and women.
The MBS Service in Lahore is said to revolutionize the conventional public transport in the country. In order to provide the masses of the country with more ease and comfort, the fares of metro bus in Lahore are free for the first 4 weeks and later they would charge Rs. 30. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also announced a gratuity for all the construction workers as a reward of their hardworking to make the project a success.
