Pakistani Fashion Industry is undoubtedly making Pakistan proud in international arena. Recently four Pakistani entrepreneurs participated in the 11th edition of Prêt-a-Porter Paris, the prestigious fair for the high end fashion garment industry of France and Europe.
Four Pakistani women entrepreneurs, including Mrs. Anila Iftikhar of Al-Nahah Enterprises, Ms. Hina Mansab Khan Laila Collection, Mrs. Sara of Sarashoppe and Ms. Filza of Shah’s Boutique participated in the exhibition under the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan.
The four-day exhibition, which ran from September 3 to September 6, 2011, also presented catwalk by nine famous designers from Pakistan, including Kamiar Rokni, Nina Khan, Shamoon Sultan, Moeed Yousaf, Hassan Shehreyar Yasin, Angela Braid, Zaheer Abbas and Adnan Perdesy, who unleashed their collections of hand embroidered clothing and antique jewelry, in a catwalk, which was witnessed by a large number of importers from around Europe.
Besides, A large number of international exhibitors from Italy, Spain, UK, France, Turkey, India, China, Romania, Indonesia, Brazil are also participating in the fair that attracts visitors from France and abroad. Known French and European brands are present in the fair.
