The Sushant Singh Rajput death case is being investigated by the CBI and it was recently reported that the actor’s time of death was not mentioned on his autopsy report. A four-member team of doctors from AIIMS has been formed to give their opinion on the autopsy report. The team, headed by Dr Sudhir Gupta, will head to Mumbai after analysing the reports.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s autopsy was conducted at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. The Mumbai Police had sent a query to the doctors who performed the autopsy regarding the time of death. They received the doctors’ response on August 5. The reply is also a part of the investigation report submitted to SC which was handed over to the CBI.
In their response, the doctors said that the time of death was 10 to 12 hours before postmortem. The postmortem happened at 11:30 pm on June 14.
On July 27, the Mumbai Police received the forensic report regarding tensile strength of the kurta found at actor’s residence at the time of his death. The report said that it could bear weight upto 200 kgs. The fibre of the same cloth matched with the fibre found on the actors neck.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on the morning of June 14. His death was declared a suicide by the Mumbai Police, who filed an Accidental Death Report the same day and began investigating the case.
On July 25, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh filed a complaint in Patna’s Rajiv Nagar Police Station against Rhea Chakraborty, her family, Shruti Modi and Samuel Miranda.
