Renowned designer Ayesha Khurram whose pop-art inspired kurtas and Marilyn Monroe design have catapulted her into popularity is now turning her sights towards the bustling bridal market and is now launching a full fledge bridal studio, the first of its kind in Lahore.
This studio, which will be opening up soon on M.M Alam Road, will have a complete display of Ayesha Khurram’s latest bridal designs and well as a selected array of the heavier semi formal and formal designs she carries.
“I am extremely excited and delighted to be launching my own bridal studio,” said the soft spoken designer, who currently operates out of three retail stores, two in Lahore and one in Faisalabad. The bridal studio will provide would-be brides the opportunity to browse through bridal collection and place an order in the serenity of a space just designed for them.
“I think all the to- be brides need to feel special and should really enjoy the process of choosing and selecting the perfect outfit for their special day,” said Ayesha Khurram, explaining why she felt there was a need for bridal studio.
Though the designer has mainly concentrated on Prêt wear in the recent months, earlier she was known for her heavily worked bridals and formals. “When I began designing, I started with bridal and formal wear but over the years I have moved onto pret and fabric,” said the designer, whose label is becoming one of the most sought after labels in Lahore. “For me the bridal studio is about coming full circle. Having fully established myself in pret, I am delighted to now once again be expanding to bridal wear.
The studio is located on M.M Alam road, one of the busiest through areas of Lahore. The bridal studio will be up the couture and bridal experience for women in Lahore.
