Where Eid-ul-Fitar is all about Eidi, vermicelli, hot n spicy channa chaat, fruit trifal and sweet delights, Eid-ul-Azha is about Mutton roast, Kababs, Biryani and fun-filled family BBQ night. But off course choriya, mehendi and mesmerizing Eid dresses are always a part of every festival, after all girls are all about ‘Sajna Sawarna’.

The central attraction of Eid-ul-Azha is the ble-e-e-e-e-ting of goats and cows everywhere, which brings about an enchantingly rustic effect in the city ambiance. A day before Eid, where girls are busy applying henna and facial cleansers, boys and kids take their bakras to ‘Fancy Bakra Walk’ where Bakras are all dolled up in beautiful costumes, balloons, ribbons and sparkling glitters.Eid-ul-Azha is rather nostalgic, it comes bringing thousands of childhood memories with it, the unforgettable memories of favorite bakra and the fancy bakra walk, the family moments of cold and foggy BBQ nights, the charm of childhood bakra wrestlings and fire crackers.

But the worst thing about Eid-ul-Azha is the smell of raw meat especially if you are a vegetarian, that day might become the most yawky, smelly day for you. But whatever it is, it is an essential part of Muslim religion, a day when Muslims all over the world test their love for God, the creator of all.

Have a blast this Eid with your friends and family plus don’t get yourself hurt by Bakra’s Seeng! Stay blessed and stay safe.
